I run strategy, planning, and operations for enterprise businesses, and I rebuild them with AI.

At Broadcom, VMware, Flex, Huawei, Symantec, and Intel I’ve built and led Strategy & Operations for a $300M SaaS business unit, driven >200% revenue growth, designed the operating cadence and forecasting systems that ran it, and integrated post-M&A. I’m an engineer by training and an operator by temperament: I’d rather show you the dashboard than the deck.

I’m Jingchuan Dong. I’ve spent 20 years running strategy, planning, and operations inside global tech companies, most recently building and leading S&O for a $300M SaaS business unit at VMware and Broadcom.

I write about AI from an operator’s seat: what’s actually deployable in the next quarter, what changes when finance and ops teams put modern AI into production, and what doesn’t.

I’m also the founder of ScaleCadence, where I run fractional Head-of-BizOps engagements for growth-stage SaaS startups. I’m open to senior in-house roles where the work is rebuilding the planning system, not maintaining it.
